Reggie is a musician, and when a series of strokes left him with reduced movement on the left side of his body, he was unable to play, let alone hold his guitar. When establishing goals with his therapy team, Reggie indicated that his primary goal was to be able to play his guitar again. The physical and occupational therapist saw Reggie in his home regularly; supporting him in developing skills to increase his function and independence with daily activities. Reggie’s determination and hard work both in and out of therapy sessions, has seen him get closer to his goal, and was recently able to hold his beloved guitar. The look on his face says it all.  – Nada (OT)
