Anne Chen, MS, OTR/L, earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Chinese from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with honors. Anne has accumulated extensive experience in various healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics, home health, and hospitals (covering inpatient rehab, acute care, and NICU). Her research background spans both psychology and occupational therapy, focusing on self-efficacy, group dynamics, and stroke recovery. Anne has served as a senior occupational therapist, leading an outpatient OT facility in New York. She specializes in orthopedic cases, hand therapy, and stroke rehabilitation, and has eight years of experience in homecare within both Med A and Med B settings. Throughout her career, Anne has worked with a diverse range of patient populations, including those with neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric conditions. Her passion for rehabilitation is rooted in a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life.
Michelle Lowry Ph.D. CCC-SLP, TSSLD received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore.
Michelle Lowry Ph.D. CCC-SLP, TSSLD received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland, her master’s degree from Seton Hall University, and her Ph.D. from the Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration with a concentration in Leadership at Seton Hall University. Dr. Lowry is a certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in New York and New Jersey for over 10 years. Dr. Lowry owned her own private practice, Speech4parents, where she focused on providing speech and language services and evaluations to children with a parent education-based approach to therapy, as well as providing consultation services to schools and healthcare facilities to create internal Speech Therapy Departments. Dr. Lowry’s research interests include parent education, cultural competence, diversity and inclusion, multicultural issues, underserved populations, literacy, and language development in bilingual and monolingual populations. Dr. Lowry is excited to share her leadership, business, clinical, and research expertise as the Chief Operating Officer at Paradigm Rehabilitation.
Nicole Yehezkel M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD, is the Clinical Director of Speech-Language Pathology at Paradigm Rehab. She is an experienced speech-language pathologist in both pediatric and geriatric care. In her role at Paradigm Rehab, Nicole oversees clinical inquiries and documentation, provides on-site and remote supervision, and ensures clinicians meet high standards of care and compliance. Nicole additionally assists new clinicians through their clinical onboarding process and formal orientation. Her commitment to clinical excellence and mentorship supports the growth and development of the Paradigm Rehab team.
Since joining Paradigm Rehab in 2022, Maddy has dedicated herself to enhancing our clinical systems and ensuring seamless support for our clinicians. In her role, Maddy oversees the Plan of Care (POC) department, focusing on the integration and management of Telehealth visits and Durable Medical Equipment (DME). She prioritizes clear communication and clarity by reviewing critical notes and addressing any questions our clinicians may have. Maddy’s commitment to the team is unwavering, and she is always available to provide assistance and support to ensure our operations run smoothly.
Jose Alvarez is the Director of Operations and leads the Intake team at Paradigm Rehab, where he has been a valuable member for over two years. In his role, Jose oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. He is responsible for managing authorizations and insurance processes, as well as coordinating referrals for the intake team. A key part of his role is to ensure that all necessary information is gathered for proper compliance, supporting both patients and staff in the rehabilitation journey. With a commitment to providing exceptional service, Jose plays a crucial role in streamlining processes and enhancing the overall patient experience.
As the Director of Intake, Mussie oversees the intake process for all incoming patients for speech, occupational, and physical therapy services, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and referral sources. This includes managing the wonderful internal intake team at Paradigm, handling insurance verification, building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources and patients. Mussie ensures efficient communication and coordination between teams, manages workflows to guarantee timely and accurate service delivery and ensures communication and compliance with insurance requirements, constantly working towards continuous improvement of the intake process.
Gabriel Vargas is a dynamic professional whose career exemplifies strategic growth and leadership development. Armed with an MBA from Dominican University, Gabriel launched his career in the tech startup space. During his tenure, Gabriel demonstrated exceptional ability in lead generation and pipeline development, consistently exceeding targets through his skilled approach to prospect engagement and solution positioning. His natural talent for relationship building and strategic communication contributed significantly.Building on this foundation of success, Gabriel has advanced to the position of Development and Recruitment Manager, where he now spearheads talent acquisition and team development initiatives. In this role, he leverages his unique combination of sales expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities to identify and nurture top talent, driving organizational growth and fostering a culture of excellence.
Manages all the active cases with Paradigm and CHHA-related referrals and Peds cases, leading the team to ensure that clinicians and Patients alike get all their needs met.
